Spåkopp plays an eclectic style of jazz fusion with a slappy bassist, an eager drummer and a sometimes soothing, sometimes out of control sax – among other things. they are highly dynamic, and have no trouble changing from an insanely high pace to a calm and relaxing tempo. and the way the songs are constructed makes them feel like collective improvisations like with typical free jazz, only with more structured calm parts. it’s all real good and a must-have. go get it!
