if you were into that Parades End 7″ I posted, you will be into this. it’s ye olde chaotic mid 90s emo. back when emo bands called themselves “hardcore” because they thought “emo” was silly, not because they didn’t want to be compared to bad androgynous Jimmy Eat World copies and so on. this is a fine band with frantic guitars, melodic bass lines, unorthodox semi-jazzy drumming with cowbell, saxophones and cryptic lyrics sung/shouted by chaotic vocals – sometimes male, sometimes female. dreamy driving punk rock with psychedlic and experimental touches like Fugazi. a must download. get it. :)
